yesterday neal and i were walking near the NYU campus (on our way to meet alex). neal said, "hollye, look to your left". i looked. whom did i see? philip seymour hoffman. he looked like an average joe... wearing casual clothes and a backpack while chatting with a blonde woman. there was no fanfare or paparazzi to speak of. just neal and i staring for a few seconds, then going on our way. it was fun.

so, we are at the airport. this weekend was busy and hectic... but successful. miss melissa's wedding was a smashing success. the weather was great, the guests jolly, and the bride beautiful. then we moved our stuff out of the house, went to the dmv to finally update our "valid without photo" licenses, unpacked our stuff at the chapman sr's house, showered, went to eat with corey & alyssa, jeff & jen, and dale & daurelle. the food was good. the company was great. but i was a bit spaced out due to the events of late... both past and present. in fact that is my state as i type, so forgive me if i sound a bit out of sorts.

two weeks! time is flying by. i'm already starting to miss you all...
