Don't you love it when you're just sitting at home reading about bowel movements and other fun stuff, when all of a sudden a ticket to see The Who drops in your lap for free 20 minutes before the concert starts? I like it very much.

corey and alyssa come in 8 days. thumbs up to that!
also, here are some other things that have been on my mind:
– over the course of the last 3-4 months here in nyc, there have been at least ten times when someone has commented on how "tall" i am. often times someone will look at me and just utter the word "tall." its amusing.
– i had today off, so i took myself on a trip to the metropolitan museum. it was an engaging trip. my favorite things (in order) were the swords, guns, egyptian coffins, and georgia o'keefe paintings. and i must say that the museum staff were quite courteous in all respects. lovely!
– i've decided that i should start carrying a rapier around with me. just because they're cool.
– i enjoy a good sense of humor. laughter is a real treat.
– tonight as i cooked dinner and waited for neal to get home, i danced with myself to four of my favorite songs by "the cure."
– current reads: "zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" (so far so good, but i'm only a few chapters into it)
– recent personal manifesto: be inspired by all; seek insipration; create anything; take risks; be active - mentally, physically; think; be aware; tell a story... (to be continued)
– music, books, and the creation of art all have the ability to change one's soul
ps. neal is the best husband a girl could ask for!!

white castle

hello everyone,
i live in columbus, ohio, as some of you may know. i also live a couple blocks from a white castle restaurant. in the one and a half years i have lived here, i have never ventured into the white castle, even though a major motion picture was made where white castle was harold and kumar's "golden idol", and i like movies. i just have to say, i ordered 4 cheeseburgers a few minutes ago, and they were delicious. if i was stoned out of my mind like harold and kumar, i would definitely want to go there. even if it meant riding on the back of an angry rudolph, or whatever they did (i don't really remember the movie too well). i'm probably going to regret the "sliders" as they're called, but since i already had food poisoning once tonight, i figured it wouldn't hurt. cheers!
