i'm not ashamed to admit that i've fallen in love with new york city. its a city that grows on you to a point where you wonder if you really want to leave. it's truly an amazing city.

things i think i'll miss upon departure: energy of the city; walking lifestyle; proximity of everything to everything else; diversity; variety of food styles/flavors; the ladies at the studio (a.g. and l.b.); our apartment (the view, the light, the size); the east village; subway system; sink-or-swim mentality.

yep. you read it right. i don't have much to say other than that my quote mark key is sticky right now. i've been working a lot... which is a good thing. i also had a bit of the stomach flu, but am nearly to full capacity once again. our friend jared is in town visiting. right on! i am reviewing my list of "things to do before leaving nyc". list items include mostly shopping in NYC/east-coast only places, eating in NYC/east-coast only places, getting a few gifts, and visiting a museum or two. we'll see how it all pans out. let's see.... 10 days - 3-4 working at the studio days = 6-7 play (and work a bit at home) days.

what else am i up to? hmm... well its time for thin-crust pizza. then sleep.
