life is as life is in los angeles. jos came to visit and it was grand. see some pics here.

staying in LA for the holidays is kind of nice. i'll miss seeing our friends and family up north. my parents are coming down, so that is a big plus!! i'm quite looking forward to it.

over the last few weeks i've had quite a hankering for miso soup. it is my mission to find the ingredients (miso) this weekend.

yep. you heard right. it is december 1st. time flies, as do many winged creatures.



today was nice. it rained all day, which was quite refreshing after so much sunshine. but don't worry... the high next tuesday is a blazing 78 degrees. we've actually found the weather down here to be pleasant. the mornings and evenings are cool enough for sweaters and mugs of tea/coffee. the days are warm enough for t-shirts and iced tea/cool water.



i've figured out what i'm going to be making for the holiday ornament swap, and it excites me. i can't wait to get started. i'll show you when its complete.
